Week 18: Sports Med

This week was super fun and filled of so many things! We started off the week of getting the opportunity to visit/learn/try the CryoSalon; I have a whole page about that day in my experiences tab that you should definitely check out! It is super cool!

We finished up our final med term lesson this week which was so sad that this year is coming to an end, but studying for our final med term exam is so interesting to see how much we have really learned, don't get me wrong though, definitely going to be a difficult test! We also got to learn how to tape an arch of the foot. We haven't gotten into the lab in a few weeks so this was a fun day to be able to practice more sports medicine skills and apply what they will do. I also learned that taping the arch can help shin splints which was interesting to me and we could connect that back to multiple guest speakers we've had to emphasized how everything in the body is connected.
